We have included several features designed to improve accessibility for users with disabilities. Some of these features are described below.

Links

Links are written to make sense when read out of context.

Visual Design

This site uses JavaScript coding for enhanced functionality and visual layout, the content of each page is designed to be legible in any browser. All pages on this site use structured semantic mark-up. H1 tags are used for main titles, H2 tags for subtitles.

Text Size

This site uses only relative font sizes, compatible with the user-specified 'text size' option in visual browsers.

Persistent Elements

Layout of the pages has been designed to remain consistent throughout the site, ensuring that all menus and elements appear in the same place on every page.

Compliance with Best-Practice Guidelines

1. This site has been developed in compliance with the UK Disabilities Discrimination Act.
2. All pages on this site comply with priority 1 guidelines of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Many such guidelines are vague and cannot be tested for automatically. We have manually reviewed all the guidelines and believe that all these pages meet the compliance level to ensure the highest level of accessibility to the majority of users.

3. All pages have been verified HTML 4.01 Transitional, meeting and conforming to published grammars. This ensures that the HTML code is as clean and efficient as possible.

LidsterCorp Limited is actively working to further improve the accessibility of this site, and reviews significant developments in standards/guidelines as they appear.
